The U.S. and British Embassies within the Russian Capital of Moscow have both released Warnings today of possible Imminent Attacks in the City by Extremist Groups that are attempting to Target any Large Gathering including Concerts over the next 48 Hours, with Foreign Nationals being asked to Stay Away from Large Gatherings until further notice.

The Embassy is monitoring reports that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, to include concerts, and U.S. citizens should be advised to avoid large gatherings over the next 48 hours. As a reminder, our Travel Advisory for Russia is Level 4 - Do Not Travel.
