Ahrar al-Sham selgitas pressikal omi põhimõtteid. Siit saab aimu millele tugineb see ISIS -le vastanduv "Pehme käe Jihaad".

•Nationalism was catastrophic to us, we are Arabs but we are part of the Muslim world
•The Islamic movements started after the Ottoman Caliphate failed, and tried to restore the caliphate role to serve and defend Muslims worldwide
•The Islamic movements had 4 different views:
Establishing caliphate politically, like Muslim Brotherhood
Individual call for Islam to prepare society for the caliphate, like Tablighi Jamaat
Calling people and rulers explicitly for caliphate
Establish caliphate through power, Jihadis
•We follow a fifth way that integrate all these ways to establish the caliphate
•No Jihad or revolution can succeed without people support
•Mujahideen suppression towards people lead to the collapse in Iraq resistance
•We knew that popularity is the most important thing we should not lose, despite that we may failed in some aspects, we're still focusing on keeping the people support
•Without the people revolution we could've never found our movement that seek establishing an Islamic country, defend people rights, and treat them equally
•The people support is our capital in this revolution
•In every decision we make we consult scholars and specialized people
•This conflict is not just for Syria, but for the whole Muslim Ummah
•We can't establish a state alone, we are after all a part of the whole Syrian revolution
•Islam is not just politics or just Jihad
•We seek a Sunni collation to repel the Shiite collation against us, so we overlook the differences in doctrines
•Muhammad Al-Fateh was Maturidi, Saladdin was Ashaari, despite the differences in doctrines they were the elite people and everyone fought with them
•Taliban is good in ignoring the differences between Islamic scholars and doctrines. They had Salafists, Sufis, and others, and this supported establishing the state in Afghanistan.
•We can't apply Sharia instantly, it needs time and gradually application, and it's not in our present goals.
