Greetings to all.
I am a new member and have a life long interest in military history. I am currently working on a project related to the Estonian Air Force and in particular the Hawker Hart. I am studying the period of the early 1930s and would like information on the aircraft. I have seen several photos of the aircraft, but would be interested in seeing more especially on floats. I am also interested in getting information on the Estonian Navy and coastal defense uniforms and equiptment used at this time. Specifically the winter of 1933-35. I am very anxious to share my work with any and all in this forum. Unfortunatly I can only write in English or German.

Re: Information on Estonian Hawker Hart, Coastal Defense 193
Hi & welcome!
Estonia bought on 1932 eight Hart's, four with floats, and four on wheels. On floats were Nos 149 - 152. On 1939 Independent Naval Air Flight was closed down, and then also those floatplanes were put on wheels.
If you haven't searched the forum yet - here is already 1 topic about Harts with some model photos

And if you want to look some videos where also Hart is present

About uniforms - aviators of the Independent Naval Air Flight were aviation uniforms, not navy ones.
