tsitaat: "The 11. of september we found a crossing(a wadi) of the river that didn't show on the map. The crossing were controlled by the taliban, but not for long. They were quite surprised by seeing ISAF-forces popping up from the sand, and all them were killed in the attack(by M2,Carl Gustav,MG3 and A10).
After the fight we dissapered into the desert as we are used too.
On the 12. of september ANA attacked Garamsir from the north while our 1. platoon(eagles) attacked from the west. The objectives off the operation were too gain control off the towncentre and the ridgde(which would be fullfilled soon). The taliban thought they were being attacked by large forces from 2 sides(ANA north:200-LOPESK west: 20). They were pushed back 2 kilometres when the day was over. During the assault we were attacked with all the equiment the taliban were able too deploy(RPG,HMG and mortars).
