Im looking for information about the first battle around Vepskula-Siivetsi, a few kilometres north of Narva/Estonia in feb/march 1944. Im mostly interested in information regarding the actions of the Estonian SS-division, but Im also interested in Kampfgruppe Krügel aswell.
Has SS-Kriegsberichter Karl Gailit written anything about these actions in the estonian papers produced during the war?
And, yes I allready have Wilhelm Tiekes book.
Im also interested in information regarding the Monument at Siivertsi which was arised by the russians 1900 to honour the two russian regiments that took part in the battle for Narwa and in the fight against the Swedish king Karl XII in 1700.
Thanks in advance and all the best
